Walled Lake student who scored perfect 36 returns to teach ACT strategies By DIANA DILLABER MURRAY and JERRY WOLFFE A year ago, James ‘Jimi’ Mandilk, of the Walled Lake Central Class of 2009, was one of the few Oakland County graduates to score a perfect 36 on the ACT college admission test. Now 18, and a student at Yale University in New Haven, Conn., Mandilk is back home for the summer teaching strategies to other promising Walled Lake students who have hopes of improving their ACT scores and being admitted to the college of their choice.
