School lunches offered at affordable prices
A complete lunch that meets the federally established nutritional requirements may be purchased for $2.25 at the elementary schools. The middle and high schools offer a wide variety of choices, and complete meals may be purchased beginning at $2.50. Milk is included in all complete lunches.
Students may be able to get lunches free or at a reduced price of $.40, depending on family size and income. If you now get Food Assistance Program (FAP), Family Independence Program (FIP) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) benefits for your child, he/she may receive free meals.
If your total household income is the same or less than the amounts on the income chart shown below, please fill out an application for meal assistance. Applications for free or reduced-price meals will soon be available on the Food Service web site and take approximately ten business days to process.
Breakfast for $1.25 is offered at ten of our elementary buildings (Dublin, MH Guest, Hickory Woods, Loon Lake, Maple, Meadowbrook, Pleasant Lake, Twin Beach, Walled Lake and Wixom elementaries) and for $1.50 at S.
