One question I am asked often is "Why is my computer so slow?"

First, just know that the older the computer, the slower it usually seems compared to newer computers or laptops. There are a few things that you can do to help.

• Keep your anti-virus software up-to-date.
• Be careful about what you install.
• Avoid free programs like cursors and wallpaper. They often contain spyware.
