21st Annual Tuition Expedition - 50/50 raffle

$20 per ticket or 3 tickets for $50  | Only 2,000 tickets available             

Drawing will be held at the district Reflections Celebration on March 23, 2026 at Walled Lake Western High School.   (Need not be present to win. )

Seller Incentive:  Sellers can earn a free entry to the raffle for every 20 tickets they help sell. 

Grand Prize - Your choice of scholarship funds or cash!

50% of proceeds when electing the Scholarship funds option. In 2025, the scholarship amount won was over $11,200. The Foundation For Excellence will hold these funds for up to 20 years, but they must be paid out within 4 years after the first payment. This means, if your child is an infant, the funds will still be available to you when they graduate!

If electing a lump sum payout, 40% of the proceeds will be awarded.  Had the Lump Sum option been selected in 2025, the final payout would have been around $6,300 AFTER the required tax withholdings.  

• Scholarship funds can be held for up to 20 years until you are ready to use them.

• Scholarship funds can be used for your kids, grandkids, niece/nephew, babysitter, etc

• Scholarship funds can be split between students (up to 4)

• Scholarship funds can be used all at once or a little bit each semester as long as they are all used within 4 years of the first payout.

The last chance to purchase a ticket is at the Walled Lake PTSA council Reflections Celebration on 3/23 at 6:30 pm at Walled Lake Western High School.

Winners will be drawn on 3/23/26 around 8:00 pm at the conclusion of the Reflections Celebration at Walled Lake Western High School.

Rules and Regulations

• Raffle open to residents within and outside the Walled Lake School District
• Winner has up to 20 years to assign funds & may be split among (4) students/years
• Purchaser must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Funds raised by raffle will be channeled into the Walled Lake Consolidated School District and its classrooms to support programs, activities, and procurement of innovative educational tools.
