Tuition Expedition

19th Annual Tuition Expedition - 50/50 raffle

$50 per ticket or 3 tickets for $100  | Only 1,000 tickets available             

Drawing will be held at the district Reflections Celebration on March 18, 2024 at Walled Lake Western.

New this year:  The person who sells the winning ticket will win $100 as a Thank You prize!

Grand Prize

50% of proceeds when electing the Scholarship funds option. In 2023, the scholarship amount was $10,705. The Foundation For Excellence will hold these funds for up to 20 years, but they must be paid out within 4 years after the first payment. This means, if your child is an infant, the funds will still be available to you when they graduate!

If electing a lump sum payout, 40% of the proceeds will be awarded.  Had the Lump Sum option been selected in 2022, the final payout would have been $6,059 after the required tax withholdings.  

Need not be present to win.

Ticket requests can no longer be made online.  The last chance to purchase a ticket is at the Walled Lake PTSA council Reflections Celebration on 3/18 at 6:30 pm at Walled Lake Western High School.

Winners will be drawn on 3/18/24 at 8:00 pm at Walled Lake Western High School.

Rules and Regulations

  • Raffle open to residents within and outside the Walled Lake School District
  • Winner has up to 20 years to assign funds & may be split among (4) students
  • Purchaser must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Funds raised by raffle will be channeled into the Walled Lake Consolidated School District and its classrooms to support programs, activities, and procurement of innovative, educational tools.
