Walled Lake Western Commemorative Bricks
We currently only have a couple of WLW Commemorative bricks left. If you are interested in purchasing a brick, please contact Jackie Gurwin at JackieGurwin@wlcsd.org to see if there are any left.
As portions of the original Walled Lake Western High School building are razed to make way for the new modern classrooms, we are offering you a piece of Walled Lake Western history for your very own!
A limited supply of bricks have been retained and are being made available for purchase to the public.
Commemorative brick orders and questions can be directed to Jackie Gurwin, Foundation for Excellence Executive Director; by email or phone at (248) 956-2116.
Funds raised by the Commemorative Brick Program will benefit students and staff of Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. The Foundation For Excellence will channel these dollars back into the district and its classrooms through its annual mini-grant program.
Tax Deduction: Donations made to the Foundation For Excellence may be eligible for a tax deduction. Please note a tax deduction is limited to the excess of the contribution over the value of each brick (suggested value - $20.00) received in exchange for the donation.
