Chase Rybak named USA Lacrosse Academic All-American

Walled Lake Western senior Chase Rybak was recognized by USA Lacrosse as an Academic All-American.

Rybak boasted an impressive unweighted GPA of 3.93 this past year, which also earned him Academic All-State for the second-straight year. On the field, the Walled Lake United long stick midfielder earning Second Team All-State honors after leading the state in Division 1 in caused turnovers (52) for his position for the second-straight year. Rybak also led the team and Division 1 this season with 135 grounds balls.

Rybak will attend the University of Michigan in the fall to pursue engineering.
