Todd Pheiffer named Walled Lake Central’s new assistant principal and athletic director

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ Board of Education appointed Todd Pheiffer the new assistant principal and athletic director at Walled Lake Central at its special meeting on August 3, 2026.

“My goal is to build upon the outstanding tradition of excellence that already exists at Walled Lake Central,” said Pheiffer. “Our school has a strong legacy of academic achievement, athletic success and community pride, and I am honored to join a team that is so deeply committed to students.”

Pheiffer arrives at Walled Lake Central with 15 years of experience in secondary education, instructional leadership and athletics. Pheiffer joins the Vikings after serving as a mathematics teacher at Novi High School since 2016. During his time in Novi, he also held the role of middle school athletics coordinator for five years and served as the Wildcats’ soccer coach since 2010. On the pitch, Pheiffer was named the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He also guided Ann Arbor Huron to is first state championship in girls’ soccer history in 2008.

“Mr. Pheiffer is a tremendous addition to the Walled Lake Central leadership team," said Dr. Michael Lonze, Superintendent of Schools. "He brings a strong understanding of what it takes to build successful programs, develop meaningful relationships and create positive experiences for students. We are excited for the energy, leadership and commitment he will bring to the Viking community."
