McKinney-Vento
Walled Lake Consolidates Schools, in accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, will ensure that homeless children and youth in transition have access to a free and appropriate public education.

A student may be considered eligible for services if he/she is presently living:
- In temporary shared housing, a shelter or transitional living program.
- In a hotel/motel, campground or similar situation due to lack of an alternative.
- At a bus station, park, car or abandoned building.
